The annual S.Pellegrino Young Chef global culinary talent-search, is aimed at finding the best young chef among thousands of hopeful candidates from more than 90 countries around the globe. Five South Africans and three young chefs from Dubai were in the running for this coveted title during the regional finals held in Cape Town earlier this year.
The Michelangelo International Wine & Spirit Awards gives local and foreign wines the opportunity to be judged by a panel of acclaimed wine experts from around the globe. All the judges are hand-picked and serve on the panel by invitation only.

The perfect score is an exceptionally rare occurrence and to acquire such an extraordinary wine is remarkable. Mosaic is fortunate enough to have a few of these classic beauties in our cellar. The greatest year of my life!
I was recently in the position where I was given the opportunity to visit France with the rest of the Mosaic team.  We arrived at Charles de Gaulle Airport in France in the early hours of the morning and met up with the rest of the Mosaic team in Paris before getting on the TVG  to our final destination - a unique 18th century Chateau in the Loire Valley in. . .

We are very pleased to announce that Mosaic has been honoured at the Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards which were revealed in the US this week. Mosaic received the Best of Award of Excellence - the only restaurant in Gauteng to achieve this accolade and one of only three South African establishments to be recognised by this influential global awards programme.
